5-Year Limited Cabinetry Warranty
1. Warranty Coverage
This cabinetry is warranted to the original residential purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery or installation, whichever occurs first.
This warranty applies only to cabinetry products manufactured and supplied by the Company and installed in a residential setting.
2. What Is Covered
During the warranty period, the Company will, at its sole discretion:
Repair
Replace
Refinish
Or provide a reasonable allowance for
any cabinet or cabinet component that is determined to be defective in material or workmanship.
Covered components include:
Cabinet boxes
Doors and drawer fronts
Drawer boxes
Shelving
Hinges and drawer glides supplied by the Company
Replacement parts may differ slightly in color, grain, or finish due to normal material variation and aging.
3. Natural Wood Characteristics (Not Defects)
Wood is a natural material, and variations are inherent and expected. These characteristics are not considered defects and are not covered under this warranty:
Variations in wood grain, texture, or pattern
Color differences between cabinet components
Mineral streaks, knots, or natural markings
Darkening or lightening of wood over time due to exposure to light, heat, or environmental conditions
Differences between samples, displays, photographs, and installed cabinetry
Stain and paint finishes may also vary from piece to piece and batch to batch. Exact color matching is not guaranteed.
4. Hairline Cracks, Joint Lines & Wood Movement
Wood expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity. As a result:
Hairline cracks
Minor joint lines
Seasonal movement at seams or joints
Slight panel movement
may occur over time. These conditions are normal characteristics of wood products and are not considered defects, provided they do not affect the structural integrity or intended function of the cabinetry.
Joint lines in painted or stained doors, particularly at rail and stile connections, may become visible over time and are not warrantable.
5. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by improper installation or handling
Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents
Exposure to excessive moisture, humidity, heat, or direct sunlight
Warping, swelling, or delamination caused by environmental conditions
Damage caused by plumbing leaks, water intrusion, fire, flooding, or acts of God
Field modifications or alterations not authorized by the Company
Labor costs associated with removal, reinstallation, or refinishing
Color or finish changes due to aging or environmental exposure
Commercial, rental, or multi-family applications are excluded unless otherwise stated in writing.
6. Hardware Warranty
Hinges and drawer glides are covered for five (5) years against manufacturing defects when used under normal residential conditions. Normal wear, adjustment issues, or soft-close performance degradation over time are not considered defects.
7. Warranty Claims Process
To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser must provide:
Proof of purchase
Photos clearly showing the issue
Description of the concern
Installation date and location
All claims must be submitted in writing. The Company reserves the right to inspect the product prior to approving any warranty claim.
8. Limitation of Liability
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products only. The Company shall not be liable for:
Incidental or consequential damages
Loss of use
Property damage
Labor or installation costs
Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
9. Warranty Transferability
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
10. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state of Indiana.
